Now based in San Francisco, Cencibaugh supports the next chapter of Girls & Roses while advising and collaborating on creative and strategic initiatives. She co-founded Girls & Roses Tattoo Studio. She is the Creative Operations Director of this luxury tattoo brand. The studio is recognized in the Best of Rose City Awards. Known for blending structure with creativity, Cencibaugh has built her career around refining how creative businesses function, communicate, and grow.
Career and Background
In 2020, Cencibaugh co-founded Girls & Roses in Portland’s Bindery Annex with artist Ruben Garcia. Together, they reimagined the modern tattoo studio experience prioritizing design, hospitality, and professionalism at every touchpoint. Under their leadership, the studio grew to include The Residency, a paid educational program supporting early-career tattoo artists through mentorship and design-focused training.
As of 2025, Girls & Roses is concluding operations. This marks the close of a five-year chapter. It shaped a new standard for artistry and client experience in Portland’s tattoo community. Cencibaugh continues to apply her skill in creative operations and systems design to new projects and collaborations.
Philosophy
Her work is guided by a single belief: excellence is a system, not an accident. She values precision, refinement, and transparency—principles that have defined her leadership approach and continue to inform her next chapter. Cencibaugh focuses on developing structures that support creative growth. She also shapes experiences that communicate trust. Her aim remains on building environments where creative excellence can thrive.
